A Pokemon GO player shot an awesome picture of their Pichu while traveling. Pokemon GO players are able to catch Pokemon wherever they are in the world.
The Pokemon community loves sharing great gameplay moments, ranging from lucky catches to hilarious glitches. With Pokemon GO being a convenient mobile game, many players are able to share interesting Pokemon finds while walking around, like one lucky player who found a rare Snorlax variant. Some Pokemon GO streamers also manage to capture such moments while livestreaming, which they get to experience with their viewers.
Pokemon GO also has a nifty Snapshot feature that lets players take photos of their Pokemon in random places, which is what a player called Powerful_Blackberry2 did during a trip to Peru. In a Reddit post, they shared a photo of their Pichu standing on a cliff with Machu Picchu as its backdrop. The player said they snapped the photo during a walk, and thought that Machu Picchu would be the perfect setting for Pichu.
In the comments, many Pokemon GO fans loved how perfect the location was for a Pichu photo. One fan also shared that they were able to catch a Pikachu while walking around Machu Picchu's ruins. Meanwhile, Powerful_Blackberry2 noted that the area around Machu Picchu has multiple gyms and PokeStops, which makes it a pretty great spot to look for Pokemon. But since it's a UNESCO heritage site, Pokemon GO players should still practice caution if they ever find themselves in Peru's ancient site, or any tourist spot for that matter.
Pokemon GO fans don't have to go far to find Pokemon or participate in events. Pokemon GO has an exciting raid lineup for April, which gives players the chance to encounter Mega Heracross, Mega Charizard, and Mega Aggron. There's also an upcoming Bellsprout Community Day, which increases the chances of encountering a Shiny Bellsprout.
Many fans are also anticipating the upcoming Pokemon GO Fest 2024 this summer, where Legendary Pokemon Necrozma will make its debut.
