You can rest assured that there’s a perfectly logical explanation for Jackie Chan’s recent look. He took to Instagram to ease the worries of his fans by letting them know he’s, in fact, aging gracefully.
“Not so long ago, a lot of friends saw some recent photos of me on the internet, and they were all concerned about my health,” said Chan. “I want to take this opportunity to let everyone know, don’t worry! It’s just a character appearance for my latest movie. The character requires me to have white hair, white beard, and look old.”
As the infamous martial artist said in his post he’s never been afraid to try something new, this involves more than just stuntwork. He’s simply trying out his new look to prepare for his upcoming movie.
Jackie Chan continued to say that for the past 62 years that he’s been in the film industry, he’s loved every moment of it. It’s a relief that despite the online speculation, the Rumble in the Bronx actor is doing just fine.
