Blizzard revealed nearly all the Hero Talent Trees including 6 new ones with the launch of the War Within Alpha.
Our Shadow Priest guide writer, Ellipsis, offers an early review of the Voidweaver Hero Talents offer a spectacular theme and strong gameplay but with tight timings that may need some additional iteration.
With the release of The War Within Alpha to the public, we now have access to the Voidweaver Hero Talent tree for both Shadow and Discipline Priest. This new set of tools allows priests to tap into the cosmic powers that we saw on display during the Sarkareth encounter in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible to create a powerful Void Rift and empower their existing spells. Before the release of Voidweaver it was pretty obvious Shadow Priests would be gaining a set of Hero Talents dedicated to the Void, what was unclear is what exactly that would mean. Were we going to be delving into the powers of the cosmos or summoning an army of tentacled servants to do our bidding? It's to my delight that it's the former. While Shadow has had brushes with «Cosmic Horror» in the past, those have been more on the horror side of things. Join me as we dive into the state of Voidweaver on The War Within Alpha and the gifts we have been bestowed by our dark lady Xal'Atath.
