Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the two weeks spanning April 22, 2024 to May 5, 2024.
Stellar Blade for PlayStation 5 was the highest selling new release, opening at 67,131 retail copies sold over the two-week period. It was followed by Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which opened at 46,729 sales for Switch and 19,434 sales for PlayStation 5, for a total of 66,163 opening retail sales.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 100,038 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 49,534 units, the Xbox Series family sold 5,335 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 202 units.
