Dragon Age Dreadwolf, the highly-anticipated next entry in the Dragon Age series, is said to be fully revealed later this week.
That's what Insider-Gaming reports based on insider reports. Although the outlet isn't entirely sure during which planned showcase Bioware's title will be revealed, it's likely that it will happen during Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest event later this week. "According to insider reports, which we’re working to corroborate, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will receive a full reveal this week, likely during Summer Game Fest", the outlet writes. "Whether it happens during the Summer Game Fest Showcase, Xbox Games Showcase, or elsewhere, however, remains to be seen."
As covered back in March of this year, the team behind Dreadwolf as well as publisher EA seemingly have been expressing to be pretty confident that the game will launch later this year, and that a reveal during the summer is likely. "I suspect [Dragon Age] will probably pop up this summer", Journalist Jeff Grubb wrote back in March. "I don't know exactly when it will be shown is the real answer. I assume it will be shown sometime this summer, could happen at any time though. It will be released this year, last I heard. They're pretty confident about that. Doesn't mean it's a guarantee, could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year.”
Earlier this month, Grubb also said that the development team behind Dreadwolf is really happy with how the game has turned out. "And they should have all of the details for that thing because everyone seems really happy with that game; they're pretty pleased with how it turned out", Grubb said earlier this month. "The plan is to launch that this calendar year, so not EA's fiscal year, not before March 2025 or anything like that, this year.
