We’ll be halfway through the year at the end of the weekend, which is one of those “Where the fork did all the time go?” moments in life. Still, at least it’s not quite as hot as it was earlier in the week, so you can have this existential crisis without sweating buckets at the same time.
Let’s have a quick gander at what’s been happening in video games this week.
We had a whole ton of reviews, split evenly between the very, very good and the good.
Alongside the games, Dom reviewed the Victrix Pro BFG for PlayStation 5, which is just about his favourite gamepad at the moment.
Over in preview land, I went hands on with Nintendo World Championship: NES Edition and the speedrunning really got under my skin, and the opening hours of SteamWorld Heist 2 has a watery twist to it, but the same great side-scrolling turn-based tactical action as the original.
Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured Beyond Good and Evil, Diablo 4 and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.
