Video game hardware can be expensive, but new products like the Amazon Fire TV 4K Stick allow you to play without the need for its latest console. This product allows you to connect to Microsoft's subscription service to play games through a cloud digitally rather than physically. For a low price, you can gain access to games you've never been able to play due to console restrictions.
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K has a normal and Max version that both cost USD 24.99 and USD 34.99 respectively. Both of these devices act like Roku controllers, allowing you to access streaming services at will through the simple touch of a button. However, you need to connect and subscribe to an Xbox-exclusive network to start downloading games on the limited space available on your Fire Stick.
The different versions of the Fire TV Stick both have unique amounts of RAM installed into each device. The normal version has 8GB of RAM, while the Max version has 16GB.
Xbox Game Pass' recent restructuring has not been well received by many, but Microsoft may be looking for a way to win back some customers.
As long as you are using a Smart TV with your Fire Stick, you should be able to turn on the screen and download the Xbox app to get started. The app should be located in the Amazon App Store, which shouldn't be too hard to find using a TV's intuitive menus. From here, open the app and make sure you have an Xbox controller connected wirelessly through Bluetooth to the TV itself to navigate the Xbox app menus.
To start playing Xbox games, you have to subscribe to Xbox Games Pass Ultimate to gain access to Microsoft's library of free titles. Many of the available games within the Pass are free-to-play on consoles, with the same being true through the Fire Stick. By using the online Cloud, you can simply select your favorite games available through the Games Pass and start playing them right away.
