No one knows where it'll be set, what it'll be subtitled, what kind of quests it'll send players on, or truthfully, anything about it. In the meantime, it's fallen to fan-made projects to provide new -related content, be they game-changing mods or works of fan art.
Reddit user mojoswoptops2020 recently posted a faithful recreation of Whiterun, made entirely in 's map builder. Their take on Whiterun currently consists of a brick-for-brick rendition of its main cobblestone street, stretching from the gate through which the player first enters to the market square. Landmarks like Breezehome and The Drunken Huntsman are clearly visible as they stroll down the lane. This fan-created, updated Whiterun provides a glimpse at what could look like without indulging in too much speculation. Although players once marveled at 's immersive graphics, they're thoroughly out of date 13 years later. Its Play-Doh faces look as silly and unrealistic now as 's potato people did when first came out. Of course, Whiterun isn't likely to appear in, which will take place in a different setting. Still, will probably look far more realistic than, and may even resemble the fan-created Whiterun in visual style.
