Star Wars: The Old Republic Patch 7.4 'Chains in the Dark' Now Live
mmorpg.comUpdate 7.4 “Chains in the Dark” for Star Wars: The Old Republic is now live. The new update adds a number of new features as well as new story content that shifts focus to the Mandalorian Civil War on Ord Mantell. The new landing zone introduces a daily area with reputation rewards, a world boss named FR3-D0M, and a datacron for players to unlock.
A revamp of the Galactic Trade Network (GTN) adds market data and revamped fees, among other changes. Additionally, there are new tiers of gear, with the max tier for most PvE players increased to 340, and PvP gear reaching 336. The update also includes DPS balance changes for a number of class specializations.

Shiny dyes for armor, such as Metallic Black and Pearlescent Red, along with new armor sets and weapons expand the game’s already sizeable customization options. Special dyes will have limited availability until January 6th, 2024, after which they can be obtained from Ultimate Cartel Packs.
