Samsung is retaining its strategy of attracting customers to its latest and greatest Galaxy S24 series by offering several pre-order bonuses. Early adopters will not just be entitled to receive twice the storage without any extra change, but they will also get the opportunity to purchase additional Galaxy-branded products at a discount.
Invites for Samsung’s ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ are rumored to be sent out tomorrow, but there is no word if the Korean giant will offer a credit reward for reserving any Galaxy S24 model. What we do know, thanks to the tipster yeux1122 through his Naver blog post, is that those who pre-order any of the flagships can secure themselves a higher storage variant at no extra cost. In an earlier specifications leak, it was revealed all Galaxy S24 versions will have two storage variants, with the base version said to be offered with 128GB and 256GB capacities.
The Galaxy S24 Plus will reportedly be offered with 256GB or 512GB onboard memory, and the top-end offering, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, can be configured with either 512GB or 1TB of internal storage. If you intend to keep any of these flagships for a few years, we recommend getting the 256GB version as the bare minimum because, just like last year, Samsung may leave out the option to expand that storage through a microSD card slot.
Additional pre-order bonuses include discount coupons offered on the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds FE. The tipster has not mentioned the maximum discount that early adopters will get, but if you want to dive into Samsung’s ecosystem while saving some money, this is the way to do it. We will also recommend against upgrading to the 128GB version of the base Galaxy S24 since it is rumored to ship with the slower UFS 3.1 memory
