Baldur's Gate 3 can be quite tricky if you're new to the genre, as it gives you multiple different things to juggle, such as Advantage, Status Effects, Spell Slots, and more. One of the most important things to manage properly is your Armor Class, which determines whether an enemy hits or misses you when they roll. Have it too low, and you'll take a beating from pretty much every attack, and enemies will rarely miss.
However, the opposite is also true, as having an extremely high Armor Class will make you almost unkillable. Reddit user Yervax found this out when they tried to raise their Armor Class as high as possible on one of their characters, somehow managing to get an Armor Class of 31, making themselves practically "unhittable".
Yervax has shared an image of their character and revealed exactly what they're wearing to manage an Armor Class that high. For starters, they're wearing Armor of Agility, which adds your full Dexterity modifier to your Armor Class, giving them a total of 22 right out of the gates. They also have Hope's shield that they pinched after she died in a fight against Raphael, which boosts their Armor Class up to 26.
I have become unhittable. Except for the rare Crit and saving throws, no attacks are touching me. Ever.
The rest of Yervax's massive Armor Class is made up of a variety of magical items, including the Ring of Protection, Cloak of Protection, Evasive Shoes, Troubadour's Wonder, and Warding Bond, each one adding a single point to get us the grand total of 31. If you're a random Baldur's Gate 3 grunt and see Yervax headed your way, you might as well as just throw yourself off the nearest cliff and be done with it.
