Ubisoft Montpellier has shared statistics for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown that suggest that Kiana the Forest Queen is the hardest boss in the game, with most players taking an average of seven attempts to beat her.
Aside from the original game that started it all, the Prince of Persia series isn't known for being particularly difficult. Sure, it has some challenging moments but, as a whole, it's pretty easy to get through in one piece, especially when you can reverse time for most of your mistakes. The Lost Crown takes a different approach by being a surprisingly tough time, something that's most apparent in the boss battles.
Every single boss battle in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown acts as a skill check to test everything you've learnt up to that point, whether it be your time powers, parrying, projectiles, and more. Although all of them are far more challenging than you'd expect from a Prince of Persia game, there's one that seems to be giving players the most trouble - Kiana the Forest Queen.
Over on Twitter, the official Prince of Persia account shared a poll that reveals that, on average, it's taken players seven attempts to defeat Kiana, which makes her the hardest boss in the game. The poll then asked players how many times it took them to beat her, with "Too many times to count" winning the result with a whopping 33 percent.
Speaking from my own experience, it took me around five or six tries to beat Kiana, which is more than any other boss in the game took me. Yes, even the final one.
The comments underneath the post seem to agree that Kiana is the toughest, with some saying that they had to switch back to easy mode to get past her. To be fair, there are also other players claiming that it only took one try, so all we can really do is agree with Ubisoft Montpellier's statistics. As someone who wanted to cry during that fight, they're probably right.
