Samsung has likely laid out its plans for 2024, with its paramount focus being to regain lost global market share to various rivals, including Apple. The Korean giant is expected to initiate its New Year resolution with the Galaxy S24 launch, which is rumored to be held on January 17. However, before the official announcements take place, the company will send out official invites to various media outlets and YouTube personnel to be a part of Galaxy Unpacked 2024, with one rumor claiming that those invites will be sent out on January 2.
Before the invite information was revealed by @MysteryLupin on X, he stated that Galaxy Unpacked 2024 will be held on January 17 in San Jose, California, with the announcements expected to start at 10 AM PST. Typically, companies like Samsung and Apple arrange invites for various individuals two weeks before the actual event, but on this occasion, they are sent 15 days in advance. Then again, depending on your timezone, that difference can turn into 14 days too.
As most of you know, Samsung will announce the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra at the Unpacked event. Thanks to an earlier specifications and features leak, various additions such as Live Translate,’ ‘Generative Edit,’ ‘Nightography Zoom’ and more are expected to debut with the flagship series. For the first time, the Galaxy S24 Plus will receive a hardware upgrade, making it similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra in this regard, but the smaller price can encourage customers to pick the model that stands in the middle of the pack instead of paying a premium for the top-tier version.
