Palworld is a game that essentially sends you out into the big open world, pats you on the back, and says "good luck". With only a handful of tutorials to guide you, you're mostly left to fend for yourself, find shelter, and craft weapons to take down the more fierce Pals out there. It promotes creativity, asking fans to find their own solutions to the game's toughest challenges, and I doubt you'll find a more unique way to take down a boss than this.
If you've played Palworld, you'll more than likely be familiar with Mammorest. While it can be found as a generic Pal, most people will encounter a big boss version of the creature close to the starting area, almost like Palworld's version of the Tree Sentinel in Elden Ring. You are far too underleveled to take it on as soon as you see it, but that didn't stop one group of adventurers from taking it down in the most fiery way imaginable.
Twitter user Video Gamers Podcast recently uploaded a video to the platform showcasing their Mammorest murdering method, which involved strategically building a field full of campfires and then herding the beast into it. You see, Mammorests are very weak to fire, and most people would see that and build a Fire Bow and some Fire Arrows to take advantage of that weakness. However, Video Gamers Podcast and their team realized it's weak to ANY fire source, and crafted their field of fire to take Mammorest down.
You can watch the video above, as the players in question and their Pals constantly ping attacks at the Mammorest to keep it within the campfire zone. It seems to confuse the AI a little bit, as all the Mammorest really does is walk around and set itself on fire a bunch, before it eventually succumbs to the flames and goes down for the count.
For their efforts, the squad even managed to capture the attention of the developers themselves, who called their method "genius" via the official Palworld Twitter account. We can also assume that this means the method won't get patched out in
