The rumoured remake of PS2 classic Persona 3 will be announced next month according to one of the original sources of the claims. ResetEra user I'm A Hero Too said a certain press conference in June will be «Evoke-itive», referring to the Evoker, a gun in the JRPG that allows Personas to be summoned.

While it's highly unlikely the Persona 3 remake will be exclusive to Xbox Series X|S, the claim does suggest Microsoft has the marketing rights again after revealing the recent Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden console ports. A 48-hour embargo was placed on confirmation of the PS4 versions, so if the same happens again this year, we suggest waiting for further information.
While original speculation surrounding the Persona 3 remake could have been chalked up as gaming forum hearsay, the claims became a lot more legitimate when what appeared to be footage of Persona 3 running at a higher resolution with tweaks to gameplay appeared online.
