Ravendawn joins the trend of holiday MMORPG cheer with its own event, Emberveil, where cheer and generosity goes a long way for all.
According to the lore, Emberveil was started by dwarves as a way to remember those lost in the Red Calamity, but it came around the time the settlers of Ravencrest met these dwarves. Emberveil became a time for all to unite before the oncoming slaught of the cold to bring together resources and warm company. It’s without the threat of the Goblin Grinches, who look to spoil this joy.
The primary Story Quest here is A Merry Quest, unlocked by talking to Merry Munk. Plus, there are Special Events to beat back the un-jolly Goblin Grinches, and new Daily Tasks
As a special this season, players can earn Emberveil Gifts through normal gameplay earns them Emberveil Gifts, but the abilities within are only unlocked when shared with someone else—yes, that means they get the perk thanks to your generosity. But if everyone’s generous, then everyone gets something! Of course, you can also get the Merry Emberveil Gift by visiting Father Beard once per day after doing A Merry Quest.
All Emberveil Gifts also give 10 Father Beard Tokens, which give House Decorations, and Emberveil Cookies can also be found for 100 Tokens to give a 30% XP boost for 500,000 XP. Plus, there are unique titles to be earned, including a “Cookie Monster” one.
Full details on Emberveil are available on the official Ravendawn announcement post.
