The first quarter of 2024 has been crazy, especially if you're a fan of Japanese games. The release schedule has been pretty much non-stop since January, and so earlier in the week, we asked the Push Square community to vote on their favourite titles of the last four months.
Over 1,000 votes were cast, and users had to choose just one game from a rather stacked list. You can read that article below, which includes our editorial team's own picks.

10. Persona 3 Reload — 24 votes (2%)

People tend to know what they like and they like what they know, and so it's no huge surprise to see The last of Us Part 2 Remastered show up in the top five. This enhanced re-release of Naughty Dog's most divisive game still tells one of the most brutal stories in modern gaming, and its gripping gameplay remains top tier.
12 years later, and Capcom has finally delivered on a sequel to Dragon's Dogma. Although unlike its predecessor, Dragon's Dogma 2 hasn't had to wait years for its greatness to be recognised. Racking up more than 2.5 million sales on release and garnering so many positive reviews, the open world action RPG is shaping up to be yet another success story for the Japanese publisher.
It's clear that developer RGG Studio put everything that it possibly could into Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The result is one of the most robust and emotional games in the entire franchise — and that's saying a lot! Both Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu play leading roles this time around, and with a much improved turn-based battle system, the general consensus is that this is an incredible sequel.
