We're still waiting on a release date, but Visions of Mana still looks really promising in its latest gameplay trailer. It's a pretty short video — clocking in at just over a minute — but there's quite a lot of stuff on show. It's got a bit of traversal, some combo-based combat, and confirms that your party members will be able to master different character classes.
In case you haven't been keeping up, Visions of Mana is set to be the largest Mana title to date, boasting large, fully explorable maps. Overall, it's clearly still gunning for those retro vibes — but with the kind of modernised mechanics we saw glimpses of in 2020's very enjoyable Trials of Mana remake. Visions is arriving this summer, but again, we're yet to be given a specific date.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.
Is it just my computer or do anyone else see no trailer here?
