Warner Bros. Games has announced a release date for Mortal Kombat 1’s Ermac DLC.
The new character will be made available for Kombat Pack owners on April 16, ahead of the DLC’s general release on April 23.
The gameplay trailer above shows off the character’s moveset, including his ability to teleport, levitate, and utilise a legion of souls to fight opponents.
The trailer also offers a first look at Mavado, one of the game’s upcoming Kameo fighters, which players can call upon to assist them during matches with support moves.
The new Kameo character DLC will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and as a standalone purchase in May.
Priced at $39.99 / £34.99, the Kombat Pack includes the Johnny Cage character skin featuring the voice and likeness of Jean-Claude Van Damme, plus six post-launch DLC playable characters and five post-launch Kameo fighters.
VGC’s Mortal Kombat 1 review called it “the best Mortal Kombat game to date”, awarding the title a score of 5/5 when it was released last September.
“It looks stunning, has a brilliant Story mode, its new Invasions mode will keep solo players busy and, above all else, it’s an absolute joy to play,” we wrote. “Thoroughly essential for die-hards, lapsed fans and newkomers.”
