Members in the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus will get access to a number of games in January 2024, and gamers now have a better idea about how much space they will require. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get some notable benefits over the Essential tier, as users in this category can play hundreds of games at no extra cost.
Sony recently revealed the list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in January 2024, confirming that members will get to play Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition, Resident Evil 2, LEGO City Undercover, and Surviving the Aftermath, among others. Premium users will also get access to Legend of Mana, Rally Cross, Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, and more. Now, the file sizes of a majority of these games have been revealed, giving PlayStation Plus members more information on how much space they need to set free.
Resident Evil 2 is one of the biggest games coming to PS Plus Extra this month, and PS5 owners will have to clear up 21.876 GB of storage to install it on their consoles. The PS4 version takes a similar amount of space, as users will need to download 24.744 GB of data to play it. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition takes up 35.536 GB and 38.334 GB on PS4 and PS5 respectively, with Hardspace: Shipbreaker requiring just 3.170 GB of free space. LEGO City Undercover will need 11.656 GB of storage, while Just Cause 3 will take up 40.837 GB of space on PlayStation consoles.
