Some of these Mass Outbreaks ensure that players have a chance to collect version-exclusive Pokémon, while others offer unique challenges in the form of tough 7-Star raids featuring Starter Pokémon.
Today, The Pokémon Company announced a series of new Mass Outbreaks and raid events for. The news appears on 's news page and also was summarized by Serebii.The highlight announcement is a new 5-Star Raid featuring a Shiny Rayquaza as a Dragon Tera-type. This raid event will run from December 20th through January 5th and will allow players to capture Shiny Rayquaza once per save file. This raid is a tie-in with, which prominently features a Shiny Rayquaza as a recurring plot point.
In addition to the Rayquaza raid,will also host several additional 5-Star Raid battles to help build up to the Shiny Rayquaza raid. From November 29th through December 5th, Corviknight and Bellibolt will appear in 5-Star Raid Battles. That will be followed by Azumarill and Clodsire appearing in 5-Star Raid Battles from December 6th through December 12th. Finally, Annihilape and Kingambit will appear in 5-Star Raid Battles from December 13th to December 19th. Several of these Pokémon are specifically effective against Rayquaza in raids.
