Pocketpair has recently disclosed its Early Access roadmap for Palworld and announced a bunch of upcoming features.
In the span of approximately one year, we should see most, if not all, of these features implemented into Palworld, so let’s dive into what they are.
If you’re excited to continue playing Palworld, there are tons of new features coming in the future on the way to its full release. Now that Palworld recently reached five million sales, more and more players are fiending for what’s next.
PvP combat is on its way, which is essentially an Arena mode. Pocketpair hopes to implement PvP servers, since it’s now testing this feature internally. While players can currently play Palworld with friends, it’s only cooperatively, and not through any PvP Arena mode.
Although you can currently play Palworld on PC and Xbox, crossplay is not yet an option. Pocketpair has already stated that it’s working on crossplay between PC and Xbox so you and your friends can play together, no matter what console you own.
While we don’t know much yet about what raid bosses will play like, Pocketpair has declared plans to bring them to Palworld. Similar to bosses you can already tackle with friends, raids would allow players to group up and work together to defeat the boss.

In the future, you and your friends will be able to trade for rare Pals together. Apparently, it may not even require you to be in the same server. Being able to trade Pals sounds like a fun way to collect your favorite Pals without having to catch them yourself.
Another thing on Pocketpair’s mind is the ability to transfer save files between multiplayer and singleplayer servers. I’m not sure how smooth this would be, but it’s apparently on the horizon.
