A new version of the NVIDIA DLSS libraries was released online alongside an updated Streamline library.
As reported on Reddit, the 3.7.0 library update, previously available only for the Ray Reconstruction and DLSS-D profile, also introduces a new E preset called eager_donkey that seems to improve visual quality in select titles with reduced smearing. The Streamline update, on the other hand, is of little interest to end users, as these tools are meant to simplify the implementation of the upscaling technology by NVIDIA.
NVIDIA DLSS 3 was launched over a year ago alongside the RTX 40 series GPU, introducing Frame Generation alongside Super Resolution improvements, which has been implemented in a lot of different titles over the past few months, including the recently released Horizon Forbidden West, and will be available in future high profile games and PlayStation to PC ports such as Ghost of Tsushima. Last year, DLSS 3 was updated to version 3.5 to include the aforementioned Ray Reconstruction tech for superior ray tracing quality. Ray Reconstruction is rumored to be supported by the yet-to-be-revealed Nintendo Switch 2, which would make it the best ray tracing-capable gaming system of the current console generation.
More information on NVIDIA DLSS can be found on its official website.
