Mortal Kombat 1, the next entry in the fighting game series by NetherRealm Studios, will be officially revealed in a few hours with a new trailer, according to a very reliable source.
Returning from a long hiatus, the infamous The Snitch, who proved to be among the most reliable leakers of the past few hours, revealed today that the next Mortal Kombat game will be revealed tomorrow, May 18th, with a CGI trailer. The insider didn't add anything more, but thankfully we won't have to wait any longer to see what will be next for the NetherRealm Studios series.

According to information shared online in the past few days, Mortal Kombat 1 will leave the previous generation consoles behind, launching only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, alongside PC. Interestingly enough, the game will also be launching on Nintendo Switch, although it is likely it will be a cloud version and not a native one. According to other rumors, the game will be a reboot of the entire series, and it will feature Peacemaker as an additional guest character that will be offered as part of the game's first Character Pass.
