Recently, the official Twitter account for the anime made an announcement that confirmed the second season is on the way and will be released on April 9. The first season of the anime started airing in October 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the normal version as it aired, and later it also released the dubbed version of the anime. The first season has a total of twelve episodes, with the final episode released on January 8, 2023.
The second season is being directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi, who previously worked on Kiznaiver and Kimi no Iru Machi. Ryo Ando is the co-director for the new season, which is being produced by Sunrise. Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass, Princess Principal, Sk8 the Infinity) is involved with the series composition and scripts. Juro Toida, Hirotoshi Takaya, and Marie Tagashira are designing the characters for the anime, while Takashi Ohmama is handling the music.
