The Stone Wars may be over, but Senku Ishigami still has burning questions he needs to find the answers to, such as what caused this global petrification in the first place. This new storyline perfectly continues from where the Dr. Stone: Ryusui Anime Special left off, so anyone who thought this was worth a skip should re-evaluate that decision before beginning with New World. It's time for Senku to set sail, and "needless to say, this unprecedented mission will be beyond dangerous!"

It's delightful to get a teaser trailer with subtitles attached right off the bat, as it eliminates a lot of conjectures regarding the upcoming season! Dr. Stone's Season 3 teaser reveals that Senku's new quest will involve a treasure hunt of sorts, in the hopes of concocting the highly revered unlimited revival fluid. Their mission is conveniently located on Treasure Island, which is believed to be the site where Byakuya and the other Astronauts once called home. Before his final days, Byakuya left a little gift hidden for future scientists to cultivate; however, the Island is not as uninhabited as appearances dictate, and locating this precious resource mightn't be as easy as they thought.
This season of Dr. Stone will act as the first of two cours, which are expected to neatly finish off The Source of the Petrification Saga, but have no fear!
