Arc System Works has announced a release date for the Xbox and Windows PC edition of its rereleased fighter BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition. The frenetic crossover scrapper will be arriving on Windows PC, Xbox, and the Xbox Game Pass service on Wednesday, April 26.
Originally released in the spring of 2018, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle sees characters from a wide variety of ArcSys fighters, anime series, manga, and other media come together for dynamic, team-based battle. Today, the title boasts a huge roster of over 50 characters, pulled from franchises such as BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Under Night In-Birth, Arcana Heart 3 LOVEMAX SIXSTARS!!!!!!, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, Akatsuki Blitzkampf, and RWBY.
The Special Edition includes the 2.0 edition of the base game, brought up to speed will all previous balance updates and mechanical overhauls, as well as all previously released DLC. This includes all post-launch characters and stages, as well as a wide array of alternate color schemes for your chosen crew of combatants. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition will be available to purchase for around $50 USD on PC Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, or will be made available via the Xbox Game Pass service.
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is also available on PS4, PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
