The Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 could finally feature new designs, along with a chipset upgrade, assuming the latest report is to be believed. With these upgrades, Microsoft is not just reported to give both machines a chassis makeover but also a much-needed specifications bumps. With Qualcomm having unveiled its Snapdragon X Elite, it is not difficult to imagine that the software giant will likely use this silicon to fuel the innards of at least one of these models.
In addition to using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite for either the Surface Pro 10 or the Surface Laptop 6, Windows Central reports that Intel’s latest 14th-generation CPUs will also be used, giving more options to consumers who wish to go down the path of using an ARM chipset or experience the benefits of Intel’s Arrow Lake lineup.
