The virtual reality community never ceases to impress when it comes to modding and community support. Even though more and more AAA VR games continue to be released, some of the best VR experiences to this day are mods and community creations.
One of the biggest breakthroughs in the VR community has been Praydog’s UEVR mod, which transforms any Unreal Engine game into a VR title with full 6 DOF tracking support. It’s an effortless process that lets you play games like Returnal, Ready or Not, and Hogwarts Legacy as if they were native VR titles, and hand tracking can even be added in some cases with a bit of tweaking.

Since the mod works with any game that runs on Unreal Engine, players have already gotten Palworld running in VR just a few short hours after release. It runs perfectly with full head tracking so you can get up close and personal with your favorite Pals. The game isn’t very graphically intensive either, so you shouldn’t need a superpowered PC in order to run this mod at an acceptable framerate.

Even though Palworld is a third-person game, it looks exceptionally immersive with the UEVR mod. The UI hovers around your character instead of being stuck to your face, so you can look in any direction and take in the sights of Palworld without all of that information cluttering the experience. Since the UEVR mod supports 6 DOF head tracking, you can move around and bring yourself face-to-face with cuddly creatures like Lamball.
