Before launch, Palworld was hyped up as "Pokemon with guns" - and now someone has turned it into exactly that. In a video being shared around social media, a Palworld player has modded Pokemon models into the game, replacing the Pals entirely.
It doesn't seem that the mod is available to download publicly right now, but a video shared by YouTuber ToastedShoes shows it off in action. As you can see, the Pokemon models effortlessly replace the Pals, making them part of a much more violent world that Nintendo probably wouldn't be the biggest fan of.

We'll have to wait and see if the rest of the playerbase is given access to this mod, as it's currently not publicly available on Palworld's Nexus Mods page. If you are looking to mod your game though, there are a bunch of fan-made performance improvements, although we can't speak to their effectiveness. Still, if you'd like to give them a go, they're free to download now.

By Monday, it had sold a staggering five million copies, and has the third-highest all-time player peak on Steam, at least since records began.
There's no telling when the success will stop, but while it continues to ride high, the developers also say that they are facing abuse. As some claim that the titular Pals looked far too similar to Pokemon - with some even accusing the devs of using an AI art generator to come up with designs - the developers say they have started
