As if Lethal Company could get any scarier, a new mod adds full 6DOF VR support to the game.
Developed using Unity’s OpenXR plugin by modder DaXcess, Lethal Company VR Mod is compatible with a variety of headsets, controllers, and runtimes, including Oculus, Virtual Desktop, SteamVR, and more.
LCVR also works in multiplayer, even between VR and non-VR players in the same session. Those without VR headsets can still run the mod, which allow them to see arm and head movements of VR players in multiplayer.
The main menu is controlled via ray interactors, so players can select any UI element simply by pointing towards it and activating the trigger on the corresponding controller. Keybinds, naturally, are disabled by mod, since it has its own set of controls.
The mod also includes a virtual keyboard for navigating the game’s various terminals as well as a number of special additions, such as the ability to shake spray cans and swing shovels and signs. Be careful when swinging objects, though, this motion will actually damage enemies (or allies).
Think you’ve got what it takes to survive Lethal Company in VR? Download the mod at Thunderstore.io. or Github.
