Preparing for the release of Diablo 4‘s third season, titled Season of the Construct, developer Blizzard has released a new update for the game. Numbered at 1.3.0, the update brings with it a host of changes, ranging from new Legendary Aspects, to changes to how some class abilities might work.
In its patch notes for the update, Blizzard notes that it hopes to see the new Unique items help uplift certain abilities across various classes, from Barbarian’s Rend to Sorcerer’s Meteor and Druid’s Lightning Storm. The update also features other changes, like Necromancers with Cult Leader having harder-hitting minions. Check out the complete list of changes in the patch notes below.
Blizzard unveiled Diablo 4: Season of the Construct earlier this month, listing out some of the new features coming to the game as part of its third major seasonal release. Headlining the new seasonal content is the addition of the Construct, which will accompany players throughout their adventures. Players will get the chance to strengthen their Construct and diversify its abilities in various ways as they take on enemies in new forms of endgame content.

Developer’s Note: It’s important to us that when a player chooses to fully invest in a Skill, the payoff is immense. In pursuit of this goal, several of our new Unique and Legendary items are targeting Skills that have yet to reach their full potential. We’re excited to see what players accomplish with our new Unique items for Barbarian’s Rend, Druid’s Lightning Storm, and Sorcerer’s Meteor. We’re also targeting some pressing issues for each Class. Necromancers with Cult Leader should see their Minions strike a bit harder, Barbarians shouldn’t feel that 3 Shouts are a requirement for their success, and Sorceresses applying Vulnerable with Lightning Spear should open new build opportunities.
