New World Legacy of Crassus Returns, with New and Returning Guaranteed Rewards

New World brings backthe Legacy of Crassus event this week, and the team has a new preview of all the new and returning rewards for the world event.

If you didn’t get a chance to participate last year, now is your chance to take on two level 70 brutal bosses who are ancient Roman General Crassus's captains corrupted into monsters. Of course, you'll need some help so bring a group when Lucanus and Decimus, the brothers, spawn. Take a crack at defeating them for new and returning rewards. Every time they spawn, if you deal at least 1,000 damage personally then you will get a reward when the battle is over. 

You can get a special keepsake for your home, the Lucanus and Decimus statuettes. Or head out into Aeternum with your new 19th Legion Pickaxe. The pickaxe was used by the 19th Legion to mine ore that was used in the statue that honors General Crassus. So what will you use your ax to mine for? 

The New World team once again uses their revamped event rewards system that features less randomness and a guaranteed full set of rewards just for a set number of victories. The event starts January 10th and will last through January 23rd, giving you two weeks to get in there and try to take the brothers down. If you defeat them 12 total times, you will walk away with every single reward available, guaranteed. No randomness. There are also bonus rewards and you can get up to three of those every day until the reset at 5:00 a.m. local time. 

Every time you fight, you'll get level appropriate consumables, and a 90% chance at a random weapon or armor piece and a 10% chance of a special named item from Brimstone Sands or Aeternum. This is in addition to all the event rewards.
