New World’s latest update is here, ending the Legacy of Crassus event until next time, fixing a bunch of bugs, and making several adjustments to narrative and stats for Eternal Frost content. The update is live, and a confirmed announcement is here for server merge plans.
Some special attention has been paid to Eternal Frost content to make it more accessible and let people finish it while the season is still running. Changes include boosting Daichi Sato’s health and damage output, reducing the solo trial Ice Guardian’s health, and reducing Moredred’s health in the Eternal Frost Soul Trial.
Several crashes are addressed, including an issue when entering and leaving Expeditions. Another issue that was preventing server transfers was also fixed, just in time for new server merges.
The first 2024 merges have been confirmed, with Central EU seeing Hercules merge into Canis, and US-East will have Orion and Pollux both merge into Octans. Transfers on the discontinued servers have been disabled and Wars have been canceled and refunded. coming this thursday, January 25th, access to those discontinued servers will be removed and everyone will be moved to the new server, with additional refunds where applicable.
