World of Goo 2 is set to debut as a Nintendo Switch console exclusive on May 23. Its release date and Switch console exclusivity have both been revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, which also featured new gameplay footage from the sequel to one of the highest-rated Wii games ever made.
World of Goo is among the most commercially successful and renowned indie games of the fifth console generation. Developed by San Francisco-based 2D Boy, the physics-based puzzler was originally released for the Wii and PC in late 2008 before making its way to mobile devices two years later.
