Bossa Games announced this morning thatLost Skies, the upcoming PvE survival game from the World's Adrift developer, has entered pre-alpha. To celebrate, the team dropped some new screenshots and pulled the veil back a bit more on the game.
Introduced earlier this year back in May, Lost Skies is set to be an exploration survival game where players set out to uncover a vast open world full of floating islands. Lost Skies is set in the same universe as its Worlds Adrift PvP MMO, but it's meant to be a distinct game all its own. The upcoming survival game is meant for both solo and multiplayer sessions, with players working together to survive a vast sandbox.
Bossa Games revealed this morning that the upcoming title has entered its pre-alpha testing phase, with players taking part in the tutorial, as well as learning more about its mechanics, such as crafting, building, climbing and combat. This is in addition to the playtesters who have been helping to provide feedback on early gameplay builds leading up to the pre-alpha phase.

“We’ve been gathering feedback from our community since we announced Lost Skies, and they have given us vital feedback on what works and doesn’t work, what is too easy or too difficult and many other gameplay elements,” said Luke Williams, Lead Designer of Lost Skies. “With our move into pre-alpha, we can bring in more playtesters, get more feedback and keep expanding and improving the game.”
