City State Entertainment, the team behind the kickstarted game Camelot Unchained has been suspiciously silent over the past couple months. The team usually puts out a recap of the month, which includes their progress gains, but had missed their November highlights, and hasn’t put out a live stream in months.
It has been a quiet couple of months over at City State Entertainment. While we’re used to a top-ten list of what’s being fixed in Camelot Unchained and a newsletter that is often full ofconcept art and technical details, November was devoid of any updates. December looked to be following that same direction until the team at CSE dropped a holiday message, letting fans know that they appreciate the support, and can’t wait to give players the “good news” next year.
The team also states that Beta 1 backers will get their latest build of the game next month, with a new UI interface on the way. While this may not be the update that players were hoping for, it does portend that something is on the horizon. Meanwhile, City State Entertainment’s other game, Final Stand: Ragnarok did see an update in the form of a newsletter, which included their first Season Pass, and changes to matchmaking, visuals, and gameplay.
The inclusion of updates for Final Stand: Ragnarok but not Camelot Unchained has some guessing as to whether the teams are capable of working on both games simultaneously, while CSE has stated previously that FS:R was simply a stepping stone that was part of Camelot Unchained anyway.
