Adventure game Archetype Arcadia is now out on Android. It’s a dark visual novel with sci-fi mystery elements. Published by Kemco, you can grab it for $29.99, but if you have the Play Pass, you can snag it for free.
The game’s world has a creepy disease called Peccatomania, the Original Sindrome, which has made life hell. It starts off as bad dreams but eventually ramps up to hallucinations and, well, people going completely berserk.
Peccatomania has been messing up the world for centuries. After having nightmares, patients start hearing and seeing things that aren’t there. And by the final stage, they’re a danger to everyone around them.
But there is something that can save the people. The online game called Archetype Arcadia is the only way to slow down the disease. Rust is the protagonist who jumps into the virtual battleground to save his sister, Kristin, who’s got Peccatomania.
Even though the world outside is falling apart, somehow Archetype Arcadia still runs. Players log in, hoping to keep their sanity intact while dodging the ultimate Game Over. Catch a glimpse of this game inside the game right below!
In Archetype Arcadia, you fight using Memory Cards. They are your actual memories which have now become cards. If your card gets damaged in the game, you lose that memory for real. And if all your cards get wrecked, it’s Game Over, and you lose your marbles IRL.
So, help Rust save his sister by unravelling the messed-up world that’s built on lost memories and hard choices. Grab the game from the Google Play Store today.
