NetEase drops a New Dev Diary and Map Reveal Video for Marvel Rivals ahead of its December Launch
NetEase has dropped a pair of new Marvel Rivals videos, including the latest entry in its ‘Dev Vision’ series of developer diaries and a new map reveal video for Hydra Charteris Base.
In Marvel Rivals: Dev Vision Vol. 2, NetEase tells players to “Get Ready for Fun!” and features the game’s lead combat designer Zhiyong to discuss game experience optimization, new maps, and the studio’s plans for anti-cheat measures.
Season 0 ‘Doom Rising’ will feature four new maps available in both Quick Match and Competitive Mode and include the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda featuring Birnin T'Challa and the Hall of Djalia, Hydra Charteris Base: Hell's Heaven, Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface. The studio also has plans for a new Conquest mode map and a Practice Range.
The Hydra Charteris Base is a map set at Hydra’s Antarctica Charteris Base where Timestream Entanglement’s disruption of the poles has created a volcano with tons of Chronovium. Hydra is looking to use the base to open up a time-space rift in order to draw out the Hive and wreak havoc on the world. Superheroes Hawkeye and Winter Soldier have broken news about Hydra’s plan and it will be up to heroes to put a stop to the nefarious group’s plans before it’s too late.
Marvel Rivals will release on December 6.
