Or if you feel like future-proofing your PS5, you can grab a big discount on a 4TB SSD instead.

Between Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Alan Wake 2 in the next couple of weeks, space is quickly going to run out on your SSD if you're planning to play these games on PS5. Fortunately, adding extra storage capacity to a PS5 is easier and more affordable than ever, as seen in these deals from Newegg that are only available today, October 23.
Newegg is offering several deals on Nextorage SSDs, with prices ranging from $56 to $200 for the PS5-compatible drives. Depending on your needs, you can choose a 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB SSD to install into your PS5. Nextorage is a Sony subsidiary, and these ultra-fast SSDs have a maximum read speed of 7300MB/s and a maximum write speed of 6000MB/s.
This means that you won't have to compromise on performance--especially for those PS5-optimized games that sport rapid transitions between loading screens--and these come with aluminum heatsinks coated with a thermally radiative black aluminate.
For a quick how-to on getting this SSD inserted into your console, you can check out GameSpot's feature on how to install an SSD into your PS5. For a few more options, you can read up on the high-end Western Digital 2TB SN850P with Heatsink which has been discounted to $170 or the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB with Heatsink for $145.
