The price of Fortnite V-Bucks and some other real money Fortnite content packs will be increasing today in some regions.
Epic Games announced last month thatit planned to raise the prices on October 27.
The changes haven’t happened yet at the time of writing, but are expected to update later today.
According to Epic’s previous announcement, the update pricing would affect the United States (and other countries that use USD in their Fortnite storefronts), as well as the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey and all Eurozone countries.
The changes mean the following for countries that use the US dollar and the Euro:
“These adjustments are based on economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations, and follow similar pricing alignments recently completed in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico,” Epic said last month.
Epic also said said Fortnite Crew subscription pricing won’t be impacted by these changes.
It was also announced earlier this month that all experiences published in Fortnite will soon be required to have an age rating in a move designed to protect players from accessing unsuitable content.
Epic has partnered with the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) to introducethe new system, which will apply to all first and third-party playable content starting on November 14, 2023.
