Eric «ConcernedApe» Barone, the developer responsible for indie mega-hit Stardew Valley, is teasing some minor additions to the now-venerable game. Fans reacted accordingly (despite it being almost three years since the game was last updated), swarming out of the woodwork and proving that once the 'Valley gets its hooks into you, it's a hell of a habit to kick.

, Barone stirred up a small frenzy by casually advertising that, in addition to more dialogue, items, and a festival, there would also be secrets and, easily the most provocative of all, "???".
Barone took a break from developing Stardew Valley's eagerly-anticipated successor, Haunted Chocolatier, in order to work on the formers 1.6 update. No word on when the update actually drops, but you'll likely hear the ecstatic screaming of many millions of players in unison whenever it does.
