Season of the Malignant went live last week for Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4, but its pre-season patch garnered much more attention (and not in a good way). After significant backlash, the development team announced changes in patch 1.1.1, which goes live in the coming weeks. However, it’s also looking into the future for other changes.
For example, World Tiers 3 and 4 will be getting some new activities, which should help encourage players to want to grind towards them. Skill Loadouts are also something the UI team wants to implement, though it could take a long time. In the meantime, the developer wants to improve filters for easier item comparison.
Uber Uniques remain a stingy subject because of low drop rates, so Blizzard is looking to have them drop a bit more often. It’s also looking at ways to farm Uniques and Aspects while having Treasure Goblins drop Legendaries more frequently. If that weren’t enough, the team will discuss survivability for the Sorcerer this week while also looking more at the viability and survivability of Necromancer minions.
Diablo 4 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review for the game here.
