Some recent statistics published by Bandai Namco show that there have been over 9 billion player deaths in Elden Ring since the game launched in February 2022. A breakdown shows that 69% of these were from enemies and other NPCs, 15% were due to status effects such as poisoning, 14% were caused by the player falling to their death, while just 2% were caused by another player.
