EA’s FIFA series has over the years suffered from the odd bug. Most of the time these bugs are hilarious glitches that result from nightmarish physics collisions between players. But the latest, currently spreading throughout FC 24, is perhaps the worst yet.
The bug sees a player perform a skill move to fully attach the ball to the back of their leg, leaving them free to run straight into the goal. There is nothing the opponent can do to prevent this. Really.
It’s hard to trace the origin of the bug, but it’s prevalent enough to be affecting competitive multiplayer. Players of Ultimate Team’s Division Rivals mode, results in which affect player ranking and rewards, have taken to social media to publish clips of the exploit.
