To get the best upgrades for your gadgets and suit tech in , players need Hero Tokens: a rare resource that drops from specific activities. Most early upgrades require Tech Parts, Rare Tech Parts, and City Tokens, all of which are much easier to find. However, you’ll need Hero Tokens to unlock the best tech and some of the game’s most iconic suits.
To find Hero Tokens, you’ll need to engage in some mid-game and late-game side activities. They’re rare enough that you’ll want to think carefully about which Suit Tech upgrades to grab first. Unlike Spider-Man's Tech Parts, Hero Tokens don’t drop from all of the game’s different activities. Instead, you’ll have to prioritize a few different types of activity.

The best way to get Hero Tokens quickly is to complete Mysterio’s Mysteriums. These become available shortly after our gang of heroes visit Coney Island. However, you’ll need to be playing as Miles to complete them.

Mysteriums contain challenging timed combat encounters, testing Miles’ ability to combine his gadgets and abilities in order to complete objectives. In return, you’ll receive a Bronze, Silver or Gold rating, and Hero Tokens based on your rating.
You can replay Mysteriums to try and score higher ratings.
Mysteriums are the best way to get Hero Tokens quickly, as they’re shorter than other activities. Side quests and FNSM app requests also drop Hero Tokens, but they tend to take up more time and effort. Hunter Bases take extra time too, as Miles and Peter need to clear out multiple Hunter Blinds before they can tackle the bases.
