Converse Celebrates 50 Years Of D&D With Limited Edition Sneaker & Clothes Collection
Converse is celebrating 50 years of with a limited edition collection of sneakers and clothes that bring forth elements of the classic TTRPG (tabletop role-playing game). The celebration of ’s 50th anniversary in 2024 is a massive event that extends beyond the reach of the game itself. Aside from the new adventure book, Wizards of the Coast is also collaborating with LEGO to release thematic LEGO sets inspired by the universe of fantasy and its many worlds.
Now, the most recent collaboration that was announced was with Converse, to bring a series of apparel inspired by ’s most iconic imagery. The collab was teased in a short video posted on the official Converse account on Instagram, where a series of three sneakers are shown, all featuring some elements from the TTRPG.
The post on Instagram also reveals that the products by Converse will be released on April 11, on the official Converse website. The video, however, was a simple teaser, as there are many other products set to be released as part of the collaboration, including more sneakers, T-shirts, and even a hat.
In total, there are 17 different collab products featured on the dedicated page on the Converse website. There are 11 different sneaker models that range from $55 to $110 – the two cheapest options are for children. The All Star sneakers come embroidered with elements from; one of them features the classic TTRPG logo in orange over a black shoe, while another egret-colored All Star is stamped with illustrations making reference to, including a wizard, a D20 die, and even a Beholder enemy.
Some shoe models can be customized in different colors with different imagery.
In addition to the sneakers, Converse is bringing four T-shirts as part of its collaboration with . The prices vary between $35 and $40 for the regular-cut models, while the singular crewneck model costs $75.
