At last week’s State of Play presentation, we got our first good look at Concord, with Sony confirming that Firewalk Studios’ 5v5 hero shooter will be releasing for PlayStation and PC this August. Pre-orders are set to go live on June 6, which means details have yet to be formally shared on what the game’s pricing will be- though some regional pricing may have yielded some clues on that front.
As spotted by a user on ResetEra, Concord’s listing on the Australian PlayStation Store mentions a price of $59.95 AUD for the game’s standard edition, and $94.95 AUD for its digital deluxe edition. Interestingly, those are the same prices that Helldivers 2 launched at in the region in February, with a $59.95 standard edition and a $94.95 super citizen edition.
That would suggest that Concord will launch at the same price as Arrowhead Game Studios’ co-op shooter worldwide, which would be $39.99 USD for its standard edition and $59.99 for its digital deluxe edition.
With the game set to open up pre-orders tomorrow, on June 6, we should be getting official confirmation of its prices soon enough, so stay tuned for further updates.
Concord will launch for PS5 and PC on August 23.
