Ahead of World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary alongside the 30th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise, Blizzard has shared the World of Warcraft 2024 roadmap.
Last month, during BlizzCon 2024, Blizzard revealed its ambitious 'Worldsoul Saga' for World of Warcraft, including three new upcoming expansions - The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan. Alongside the announcement of WoW's next major story arc, Blizzard released an impressive dark-looking cinematic trailer featuring Anduin and Thrall. In a new blog post on the official World of Warcraft forums, executive producer Holly Longdale has now provided a roadmap of what to expect in 2024 in both modern WoW and Classic WoW. As detailed on the blog, early next year, players can look forward to the Seeds of Renewal content update (patch 10.2.5) as well as follower dungeons, Dragonflight epilogue quests, the Cataclysm Classic Beta (signups open today), Season of Discovery: Phase 2, Level 40 Level Cap with Gnomeregan as the new level-up raid and Stranglethorn Vale as the new world PvP location, and Hardcore Realms: Solo Self-found Mode.
