When you boot up a Game Pass title that is leaving soon, you'll get an informational pop-up.

A new Xbox update adds a quality-of-life feature informing you if a game is exiting Game Pass soon when you boot it up.
In the past, Xbox would let you know that a set of games was leaving Game Pass via the Xbox Wire news service or a notification on the Xbox app. The date of the departure would also be displayed on the store page. According to a report from PureXbox, when you boot up a game that is leaving soon now, a notification screen will pop up, showing you the day and date the game will leave and linking to the store page. This change is clearly intended to give you a little heads up if you are midway through a title that is about to leave.
Xbox has announced which games will depart during November. The first batch leaves on November 15 and includes Final Fantasy VIII HD, River City Girls, and The Gardens Between. The second batch exits on November 30 and includes Haven, Football Manager 2021, and Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action. Plenty of titles joined Game Pass in November, including some day-one titles like Thirsty Suitors and Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name.
